Many school districts and federal/state departments of education have budgets the same size as those of Fortune 500 companies. Charter Management Organizations (CMOs), on the other hand, are similar to smaller entrepreneurial organizations focused on growth. One thing they all have in common is that their organizational decisions have a tremendous impact on the lives of the students they serve. Therefore, they all have a significant need for strong managers and leaders who understand the complexities of a successful organization and can bring their experiences, innovation and best practices to education systems.
